What we collect

• Gap Check answers are scored in your browser. They are not sent to us unless you submit the email form, in which case your score and answers travel with your request so we can send you the report.
• Email address and operator name, only if you type them into a form on this site.
• Standard server logs from our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept for security and to see which guides are read.

What we do with it

• Send you the report and plan you asked for.
• If you ticked the founding-operator box, tell you about that offer. That is the only marketing use.
• Reply to anything you write to us.

We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not add you to a list you did not ask to join. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and replying "stop" works too.

Where it lives

Email is handled through Google Workspace. Form submissions pass through a form-handling service and then to our inbox. Both providers store data outside Australia. We keep your details for as long as we are talking to you and delete them on request.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@skycot.com and we will act within 14 days. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies. The Gap Check may store your last score in your own browser so you can see it again; that never leaves your device.
